Darcylio V. Lopes
Chairman
Mr. Lopes is the Chairman of the Golden Energy & Logistics Group. He is also the founder and serves as the Chair of the Board at Golden Ventures Petroleum (in Zambia, South Africa, D.R. Congo), Golden Ventures Projects and SH Petroleum Group.

He has extensive experience in the Oil & Gas sector across several African countries. He has been involved in Trading in this sector for over 9 years where he established various synergies and a strong network.

Prior to his involvement in Oil & Gas, Mr. Lopes had participated in mining projects of Gold in Ghana. He was also involved in the mining of Coal and Semi-Precious Stones in Mozambique. Additionally, he set up a logistics company that ran projects along the SADC (Southern African Development Community). The company's operations involved the transportation of Coal from Tete to Beira for Jindal as well as the transportation of clients for Lafarge.

Other experience includes running a private security company for 9 years and various projects on the trade of commodities within Mozambique and the export of goods to India and other overseas countries. As a result, Mr. Lopes has accumulated over 22 years of experience in International Trade within the Southern African Region. He has managed 4 established Companies that presently still cooperate with GEL on Oil & Gas Projects.
Lastly, Mr. Lopes has established partnerships in the financial sector with institutions and companies that support GEL's projects by providing financial solutions to enable the conclusion of various transactions around the globe. Through his work, GEL has managed to establish a well-connected and elevated network that creates a solid foundation for the Group and its diverse operations.
